Can you weld my aluminum trailer or boat?
In most cases yes. Cracked frames, rails, ramps, hulls and fittings are common jobs. Send a photo and we will tell you what it takes.
Do you weld aluminum on-site?
Aluminum welding is done in our Highland Park shop, not mobile. Our mobile rig handles steel repair in the field; bring aluminum work to the shop and we will take care of it there.
Why do some shops refuse aluminum?
Aluminum conducts heat fast and hides cracks, so it is easy to weld badly. We weld it often, so we prep and set heat to make a joint that holds.
